Travel to Wernersville Station in Wernersville, PA to observe the passing
of the last operating and biggest steam locomotive ever built (circa 1940s).
This 4-8-8-4 engine was designed to haul heavy loads over the steep inclines of the western states and is making a cross-country tour
for the 50th Anniversary of the USA.
**Bring a folding chair, appropriate weather gear, drinks, and snacks for a morning outdoors! This trip is not recommended for those with mobility issues.

Final Boss Big Band is an 18-piece jazz ensemble that transforms legendary video game soundtracks into high-octane jazz. Final Boss Big Band was formed in 2024 by professional jazz musician Kyle Kratzer. With custom arrangements and new premieres at every concert, the group creates an experience that thrills both jazz fans and gamers alike.

Join us today as we explore the rich history, picturesque landscapes and “Maker” Culture of York County, PA. We will visit locally owned shops while learning about York County’s central role in Pennsylvania’s history. We begin our day with a tour of The Popcorn Loft to learn how an idea was transformed into a specialty popcorn business. Grab your favorites to take home along with your sample bag. Next stop is Brown’s Orchard & Farm Market, known for local produce, award-winning cider, and baked goods, where you will have free time to shop. Everyone gets an Amish sugar cake to take home and a coupon for the Market. Lunch is at South County Brewing Company offering elevated pub fare. Meal choice will be picked from limited menu the day of trip. For the afternoon, we embark on a state-of-the-art immersive journey through York County’s History Center. Discover York County’s pivotal role in early expansion across Pennsylvania and its contributions to the Underground Railroad. Our last stop will be at Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop for an ice cream treat. The shop has nostalgic candy and quirky gifts. Everyone goes home with a sample “goodie” bag.
